We sell bulls every year through the Roma Droughtmaster Bull Sale and through Paddock Sales.

Our biosecurity practices are one of the ways we take care of our properties both environmentally and in relation to our stock. We have an active on farm Biosecurity Plan in place which is renewed each year meaning our bulls and females for sale, both paddock and through the sale yards, are of a minimum JBAS score of 7.

National Droughtmaster Bull Sale

We are offering 6 Bulls at the National Droughtmaster Bull Sale, Rockhampton

The Fernleigh & Fernleigh Star draft will be selling DAY 2 at the Rockhampton Droughtmaster National Sale.

All bulls are vaccinated for 7 in 1, Vibrio, 3 Day, 3 Germ and Botulism. They are from a JBAS 7 herd. All have been worked with dogs, on horses and bikes. They are tested for Pompes & Pestivirus, are HornPoll tested and sire verified where possible.

All sale bulls have undergone a Bull Breeding Soundness Evaluation and are semen morphology tested.

Lot 300. Fernleigh Maximus (D5)

Maximus demonstrates sire appeal in all aspects, he is mobile, tidy underneath, carries a strong sires head with a hooded eye and a strong topline. For any stud, large or small, Maximus is worth a look. His dam, 350, has had 4 calves in 4 years and is back in calf currently.

Lot 301. Fernleigh Maverick (D5)

Maverick is an easy doing bull with a strong topline, a strong head with a hooded eye and has always been quiet to work with. His dam, 184, has been in our breeding herd for many years due to being a reliable, easy to handle, fertile breeder.

Lot 302. Fernleigh Marco (D5)

If you're looking for a bull to tidy up the underline of your calves, Marco is the bull to look at. This bull is reliable, quiet bull to handle and is a great demonstration of his genetic lineage which traces back to Glenlands None Better. His dam, 389, has had 4 calves in 5 years, currently has a calf at foot to Bryvonlea Tarzan and back in calf with Rondel Wolverine.

Lot 303. Fernleigh Morrissey (D5)

Morrissey is an easy doing, carcase bull ready to go to work. This bull is quiet, extremely tidy underneath and will go into any breeding herd with ease. His dam, 556, has had 4 calves in 4 years and back in calf to Bryvonlea Tarzan.
